Mechanic turns Fiat Panda into world’s narrowest car – and he can still drive it

It’s just the thing to slip into a tiny parking space – but not so useful if you want to get somewhere fast.

Andrea Marazzi’s custom Fiat Panda is officially the narrowest car in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records,measuring just 19.76in (50.2cm) across.

An average modern vehicle is more than three times as wide at around 71 inches (180cm).

The Italian mechanic spent 12 months transforming the 1993 vehicle,slimming down the body while retaining 99 percent of the original parts,including all four wheels.
